Wardn is an information security firm based in Australia, and the only consultancy and managed service provider in the region that specialises in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Protection.
Our core team are security professionals with extensive experience securing some of the most complex environments in Australia, who have come together with the goal of helping clients understand their data protection and privacy obligations, and how complacency can impact their business and customers.

Director & Principal
One of the most experienced data loss prevention subject matter experts in Australia and New Zealand, Dean has been an advisor to or delivered a significant portion of DLP programs in the region, across every industry.
Dean is frequently engaged by cyber security software vendors, federal government and private sector clients to provide strategic guidance for implementing effective data protection programs, as well as technical expertise in developing effective solutions for highly accurate detection of accidental and malicious data leakage.
Tony Beresford
Principal
Tony is a security practitioner with over 20 years in the IT Security industry, working across the security architecture, design and infrastructure domains. With significant experience within large organisations in the financial and resource sectors, he is known for his deep technical expertise and pragmatic approach to project delivery. In his spare time, Tony develops and operates live timing and results systems for several motorsports events.
Tony is responsible for the operation of Wardn’s Managed Information Protection service, including the continuous improvement of the service through process excellence and automation.
